The spirit of 76 collection is an all-time classic Lionel themed train. It represents the 13 colonies and came out for the bicentennial in 1976. There were two issues of this product, 1974 and 1976. Both are identical, other than the year stamped on the side.
Many Lionel enthusiast have this in their collection. This car, being heavily used in the past, would make a great starter set for a young person, while teaching them about the history of America.
