Shipping Policy
David’s Trains ships model trains, train accessories, and related collectible items from Auburn, Washington.
Shipping locations
We currently ship within the United States unless otherwise stated at checkout.
Shipping charges
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the order, destination, shipping method, package size, and package weight.
Processing time
Most orders ship within 3 business days after payment is received.
Orders are not processed or shipped on Sundays or postal holidays.
Shipping carriers
Orders may ship by USPS, UPS, FedEx, or another available carrier depending on the item, destination, and shipping service selected.
Tracking
When tracking is available, tracking information will be provided after the order ships.
Packaging
We make reasonable efforts to package items securely. Many model train items are collectible, pre-owned, vintage, or boxed items. Packaging may include protective materials intended to reduce the risk of damage during shipment.
Shipping damage
If an item arrives damaged, contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery.
Keep the item, shipping box, packing materials, labels, and all included parts. Photos may be required for carrier claim review.
Incorrect shipping address
Customers are responsible for entering the correct shipping address at checkout.
David’s Trains is not responsible for delays, failed delivery, or loss caused by an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.
Lost or delayed packages
Carrier delays may occur after an order has shipped. David’s Trains does not control carrier delivery times.
If tracking shows a package was delivered, but you did not receive it, contact the carrier first and then contact us.
Local pickup
Local pickup may be available only when offered at checkout or arranged directly with David’s Trains.
